W/Mo Solo Build
Anyone know a good build for a sword using W/Mo that can solo things to his hearts content. In other words, some people like to call it farming. I hate how henchies affect the drop ratings.
My warrior right now has...
Gash
Galrath slash
Final Thrust
Frenzy
Sever Artery
Ressurection(only for when grouped)
Healing Breeze
Purge Conditions
Not the best build...I know. But thats why I need help.
A build that works good for PvE groups would be greatly appreciated as well.

This is what I used to use:
1. Hundred Blades
2. Sever Artery
3. Gash
4. Final Thrust
5. Healing Breeze
6. Vigorous Spirit
7. Mending
8. Balzathar's Spirit.
With this build I can tank around 5 level 20 – 30s with ease, and do a LOT of damage. Ease as in without losing 20% of my hp. If you don’t believe me, I’ll show you one day when I’m not too busy soloing. =P
Anyway, first cast Mending and Balthazar’s Spirit. Mending gives you 6hp/sec heal constantly. Then cast Vigorous Spirit. That means 10 hp per attack/spell cast. 30 seconds duration means you can constantly cast it. You don’t even have to hit. You just attack and that little 10 will pop into your red bar. With Hundred Blades, that means a small mob of 3 monsters will give you a 10 x 6 heal, 2x damage to each monster, 6 adrenaline in ONE attack for just a measly 5 energy. That means you have Sever Artery ready, and in 2 hits you’ll have Galgrath Slash ready, and then two more and it is Final Thrust. Remember, attack skills give you adrenaline gain too. =)
Bathazar’s Spirit means you gain at least 1 energy and a bit of adrenaline everytime you get hit. Since you’re soloing that means practically an unlimited stream of energy, and therefore that means Healing Breeze constantly, and therefore it means 10 arrows of health regen constantly, which means *gasps for air*, 20 hp regen per second. Pretty hard to die.
Of course, you’re not invincible. This IS Guild Wars afterall. Your main weakness is Break Enchantment spells. However, since a monster usually casts Break Enhancement only once, it will hit your Vigorous Spirit since it was your most current enhancement. Therefore, recast and happily slice your way through the crowd.
Sword attack speed = 1.33 seconds In 1.33 seconds, you have 9hp from mending, and another 10 hp from a normal sword attack. If you have Healing Breeze on, that means 30 hp from Healing Breeze + Mending, and another 10 hp from attack. That’s 40hp per every 1.33 seconds basically. Couple that if your 80 defence armor, you ARE going to be hard to kill.

Live Vicariously - Enchantment Spell
While you maintain this "Enchantment", whenever target ally hits a foe, you gain 1-11 health.
Vigorous Spirit - Enchantment Spell
For 30 seconds, each time target ally attacks or casts a spell, that ally is healed for 1-11 points.
Cyclone Axe - Axe Attack
Perform a spinning axe attack striking for 4-10 more damage against all adjacent opponents.
Bonetti's Defense - Stance
For 5-10 seconds, you have a 75% chance to block incoming melee attacks. You gain 5 energy for each successful parry. Bonetti's Defense ends if you use a skill.
Executioner's Strike - Axe Attack
If this attack hits, you strike for 10-34 more damage.
Dismember - Axe Attack
If it hits, this axe blow will inflict a deep wound on the target foe, lowering that foe's maximum health by 20% for 5-17 seconds.
Penetrating Blow - Axe Attack
If this attack hits, you strike for +5-17 damage. This attack has 20% armor penetration.
With this build i can solo 4 lvl 20 minotaurs at a time with out henchman or party members
Each hit you gain 20 hp. 4 of them with a cyclone axe u get 20+20+20+20 hp also 4 adrenalines. And use Bonetti's Defense on a correct time you will be unstoppable

if i solo, i use w/e or w/mo.
for w/e, i use as follows:
shield stance
bonetti's defense
gladiators defense
sever artery
riposte
galrath slash
armor of earth
healing signet
for my w/mo i use this:
shield stance
bonetti's defense
sever artery
gash
galrath slash
final thurst
healing hands
healing breeze
if i need more evasion, i switch out gash with riposte, final thrust with deadly riposte.
as for a comparision, i like the w/e better for survivability. why? armor of earth negates most damage (so i usually recieve between 0-5 damage). and coupled with stances, you aren't gonna get hit much. Just find mobs that don't do poison, bleeding, or mesmers and you should be ok.
oh and if you want to know how versatile this is, i can take on about 8 lvl 20 minotaurs at a time. you know where they are!

my w/mo solo/farming build is
sever
gash
Gladiator def
shields stance
Bonettis
heal sig
Sprint
Mend ailment
Since all my pts are allocated to str/sword/tactics, its basically a pure warrior, solo wurms and bosses by itself.
Build works like a charm although thinking of some modifications since its still very prone to magic and the stances tend to take quite a while to recharge.
here is my future build once i cap healing hands(switch str = healing prayers)
sever
gash
Watch yourself/heal sig
Shields stance
bonettis
Live voraciously
Healing hands
Mend ailment
So can anyone tell me the location of that gargoyle boss ^^ that ettin boss is way too annoying.

i don't think the gargoyle boss has healing hands anymore. You can only get it from the ettin boss at perdition rock. Let's just saying using henchies and myself to take down that boss wasn't easy beacuse the recharge time for healing hands is really quick.

10 Swordsmanship
Hundred Blades is on the second last boss of the last mission, I was happy as hell when I got it.

hmm...
9+1 strength
10+2 axe
7+1 tactics
10 protection prayers, or smiting...
Shield of Regeneration vs. Shield of Judgement. Sadly, enchantment removal is hot in pve so I don't know of its effectiveness.
I use Hexes that hit on a mass scale vs. mobs so hex removal is not an issue with my guy

HB is a quirky aoe attack, since it won't affect enemies behind or beside you, unless they're close to the one you target. Make sure you group enemies right before you use it. I personally went axe pve, simply for cyclone axe and the ability to equip a more useful elite then HB.

Axes have better spike damage then swords, due to a 2 skills that give +42 damage, as well as cleave and penetrating blow spams for dot.

Axes are brutally fast for damage if you know how to use them, Greyscale you might want to let a little bit leak from the PM if you know what I mean.

Here I'll leak this build that me and rusty have been working on furiously lol...
I have added sword attack if you are using a sword, sorry to those who use hammerz.
1. Cyclone Axe OR Hundred Blades
2. Axe Skill (Penetrating Blow is good) OR Sever Artery
3. Axe Skill (Cleave is good) OR Gash
4. Axe Skill (Executioner's Strike) OR Final Thrust/Galgrath Slash
5. Healing Breeze
6. Vigorous Spirit
7. Mending
8. Balzathar's Spirit
10 Healing
10 Strength
10 Axe Mastery
Notes: Balzathar's Spirit, Mending, Vigorous Spirit always. As with the sword build, you have practically infinite energy. Keep Cyclone Axing and then use your aldrenile skills in between the Cyclone recharge. Vigorous Spirit works even better here. Touch of Healing Breeze here and there when you need it.

My biggest problem is the lack of dmg. I also can't really stay alive very long against casting enemies. Not having 100 blades is probably what screws me over here.

My biggest problem is the lack of dmg, it takes me FOREVER to kill something. I also can't really stay alive very long against casting enemies and like 5 ettins or whatever...lvl 15 even take me down. Not having 100 blades is probably what screws me over here.

Well you could always be a axe warrior and well use cyclone axe and not have to wait till the very LAST mission to capture it, thats one of the reasons im an axe warrior along with HB being an elite and cyclone not being an elite gives me the option to grab a more useful elite such as cleave.
